A Special Message from Matthew & Stefanie...

Dear Fellow Secramorians,

As of November 1st 2011, the trilogy edition of Raven’s Heart will no longer be available. The Forging, Syuna Blue, and Ravenstone will become a standalone novel—Raven’s Heart: A Tale from the World of Secramore—as we had always intended. We would like to thank everyone who purchased one or more of the trilogy edition books, and to those who had planned on buying books two and three, or just three, you need only contact us through email (see below our names), and we will gladly forward them to you at no cost. Again, thank you all for your support.

Congratulations to our winners from the Big Book-Giveaway, Jason Letts and Carly Martin! Both received a free autographed copy of Raven’s Heart: A Tale from the World of Secramore. Also a big thank you to everyone who participated in the contest and to all of our new friends on Facebook. We appreciate the support!

Writers grow and develop through practice, hard work and also honest feedback. Recently we’ve received a few new reviews over at Amazon.com. So far they have all been great and we are flattered beyond belief. As we continue to work on the Black Earth Trilogy, we’d like to see more of this feedback to help us through the process. If you are uncomfortable writing a full-blown review we’ve added a quick 3 question survey with the help of the good folks at SurveyMonkey.com as well as a poll on your favorite character (both can be found on the right side of this page). If you’ve read Raven’s Heart, please do us the very big favor of taking this survey (it’s very quick). We look forward to seeing your results. Be as honest as you’d like, we’re preparing for the worst and hoping for the best!

Raven’s Heart wasn’t the only book to feature the World of Secramore at Gen Con this year. C.E. Rocco, editor of Dragon Roots Magazine, put together an anthology book by the “authors of the alley” of Gen Con 2009 entitled Missing Pieces. For their contribution, Matthew & Stefanie donated The Hawk’s Shadow. This new short story tells a tale of Hawkwing and the White Demon and helps bridge the gap between Raven’s Heart and The forthcoming Black Earth Trilogy. It is a must read for all of the Citizens of Secramore and is now available at Barnes & Noble’s website.

The anthology also features the works of C.S. Marks, Maxwell Alexander Drake, V.J.Waks, Dylan Birtolo, Tracy R. Chowdhury, Todd Austin Hunt, and C.E.Rocco himself. Stop over to Dragon Roots Magazine's official website for more details and head over to B&N for your copy today. You do not want to miss out on this next exciting chapter of the WoS or the other shorts provided by some of the most talented writers of Gen Con 2010.

Matthew and Stefanie are usually the ones who like to spring surprises here in the World of Secramore, but today the opposite is true. Author J.W. Braun (The Lord of the Films) has kindly presented an article he wrote about them during their GenCon 2010 visit. Take a moment, and read about his experience with Matthew and Stefanie at Authors’ Avenue.
