Ravens Heart wasnt the only book to feature the World of Secramore at Gen Con this year. C.E. Rocco, editor of Dragon Roots Magazine, put together an anthology book by the authors of the alley of Gen Con 2009 entitled Missing Pieces. For their contribution, Matthew & Stefanie donated The Hawks Shadow. This new short story tells a tale of Hawkwing and the White Demon and helps bridge the gap between Ravens Heart and The forthcoming Black Earth Trilogy. It is a must read for all of the Citizens of Secramore and is now available at Barnes & Nobles website.
The anthology also features the works of C.S. Marks, Maxwell Alexander Drake, V.J.Waks, Dylan Birtolo, Tracy R. Chowdhury, Todd Austin Hunt, and C.E.Rocco himself. Stop over to Dragon Roots Magazine's official website for more details and head over to B&N for your copy today. You do not want to miss out on this next exciting chapter of the WoS or the other shorts provided by some of the most talented writers of Gen Con 2010.

A Fresh Start for Raven's Heart
|
 |
"Put your best foot forward. Its an expression that has haunted the minds of Matthew and Stefanie Verish since the Ravens Heart duology was first published through iUniverse. Dissatisfied with how the novels had been published, the authors had to make a decision as to where to place their efforts: begin writing the Black Earth trilogy or give Ravens Heart an overhaul to see it done right.
We want to promote something we believe in. If it wasnt their best foot, then it was not worth being the first impression for their new readers. So the authors hit Ravens Heart with a red penfor the final time. With a stream-lined story, revamped scenes, and the interspersion of illustrations, this tale of Secramore is now the way it was always meant to be: one fantastical adventure.
If you have already read An Unlikely Journey and An Unlikely Reunion, you will find some new additions and supplementary images. If you have not yet had a taste of Ravens Heart, this complete work will take you on an adventure to another world: the world of Secramore.
Published through AuthorHouse, Ravens Heart is available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Borders.
